Stripes on Repeat !!!!

This summer designers have flooded the ramps with all kind of interesting stripes . There are mainly two themes - monochrome stripes and color blocked stripes . Designers and stylists suggest that stripes can be colourful, color blocked , zebra print , horizontal as well as vertical . One might wonder - what is this big hue and cry over stripes as everybody in the world whether male or female has been having a striped something as an  integral part of their wardrobe since ages . So what's new this time around ? The refreshing idea about stripes is that you can style them in any manner - Casual ,Chic, Retro or punk .So investing in at least one striped statement piece makes a lot of sense this summer .  

Wearing vertical stripes is more advisable as vertical stripes are more figure flattering compared to horizontal stripes. I bought this vertical striped monochrome Tee from Asos and the jeans shorts are from United Colors of Benetton (very old) . The boots are from Oasap and they are marvellously comfortable.I paired these boots with this black leather quilted cross body bag from French Connection ( old) and I was good to go .
